Does the drawstring show through a tucked-in top?
The drawstring ties at the front of the waistband, so it sits flat under a loose top or a cardigan. If you're tucking in a fitted shirt, tuck the ties inside the waistband first.
Can I wear a belt with these?
There are no belt loops — the waistband is designed to hold on its own with the elastic and drawstring. Most people find a belt unnecessary once the drawstring is tied.
Will the hem stay rolled?
The stretch denim holds a roll well through a day of wear. Press the fold with your hand after rolling and it will stay put; a quick steam sets it longer.
What shoes work best?
The tapered leg sits cleanly over sneakers and flats. Roll the hem an inch or two for ankle boots.
