A mid-length puffer jacket built around its hood
It all starts at the top. On this mid-length puffer jacket, the hood is oversized: folded down, it forms a thick funnel collar that rises above the chin and wraps the lower face; pulled up, it covers the head generously without ever flattening. Underneath, the construction is clean — raglan sleeves, wide horizontal quilted blocks, curved shoulder seams, an exposed zip running the full height and two piped pockets at hip level. The hem falls straight at mid-thigh and the cut stays roomy: the piece covers where it needs to without feeling restrictive.
How to wear it
A fine marl grey jumper, raw straight jeans and black ankle boots are all it takes — the warm puffer jacket does all the work. Zipped to the top with the hood up, it becomes a piece for the deepest cold; worn open over a light knit, it takes on a softer, almost coat-like feel. Black carries through winter without argument, ecru brightens grey days, and frost blue adds a cool, soft note that works with raw denim as well as anthracite grey.
