SUTERAA built the Margot denim jacket for the part of the year when everything needs a layer over it. It runs S to 2XL in seven washes from black through light blue, and the fit is generous, with room to layer underneath.
What You Get
-
Frayed hem: left raw on purpose — it softens the line and gets better as it wears in.
-
Longline cut: longer than a classic trucker, so it works over a dress rather than cutting it in half.
-
Oversized fit: deliberately generous, so layering never feels like a compromise.
-
Seven washes: black and white for the graphic version, mid and light blue for the classic one.
Styling Notes
Over a hoodie with trainers, or over a slip dress with boots — denim is the one layer that makes both look deliberate. Sleeves pushed to the elbow either way.
Looking After It
Machine wash cold with like colours and tumble dry low. Wash inside out to keep the surface looking new. Expect the frayed hem to soften further with each wash — that is intended.
Full measurements for every size are in the Size & Fit panel on this page — switch between inches and centimetres there.
Questions, Answered
How warm is it, really?
Denim blocks wind well but holds no warmth of its own — treat it as a shoulder-season layer, or wear it over a knit.
Can I wash it at home?
Yes — cold wash, inside out, tumble low.
Will the frayed hem keep fraying?
It settles after a few washes. It is finished behind the raw edge, so it will not run.
