The Josephine is our trench coat for the stretch of the year when the coat you grab is the outfit. Available in Beige, Black, Green and Red and sized S to 3XL — the fit is true to size, with a comfortable regular cut.
What Makes It Work
-
Proper hood: generous enough to pull over a beanie, shaped so it doesn't collapse.
-
Rain-ready finish: water beads and rolls off rather than soaking in.
-
Wind-blocking shell: a densely woven face fabric that stops the chill cutting through.
-
Longline cut: extra coverage below the hip where the cold actually gets in.
Styling Notes
Layer it over a chunky knit for the coldest weeks, then over a shirt alone once the weather softens. It works with trousers, denim, midi skirts and dresses without adjustment.
Fabric & Care
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Do not use fabric softener, which clogs the water-repellent finish. Hang to dry; a short warm tumble reactivates the coating.

Questions, Answered
Does it run true to size?
Yes — take your usual size for the intended fit. If you plan to layer a thick jumper underneath, or prefer a roomier line, size up once.
Will it fit over a jumper?
It will. The body and sleeve are cut with layering room, so a mid-weight knit underneath will not pull across the back or shoulders.
Will it hold up in the rain?
Yes — this is the wettest-weather trench in the range, with a repellent shell and a proper hood. For sustained heavy rain, treat it as showerproof rather than a technical shell.
